You may be eligible to take the ACCA DipIFR qualification exam if you have one of the following:

– Qualification of an accountant or auditor;

Appropriate level of education plus 2 years of experience in accounting and audit;

– 3-year experience in accounting and audit;
– ACCA certificate in International Financial Reporting plus 2 years of experience in accounting or auditing.

The DipIFR exam is written and lasts 3 hours and 15 minutes. ACCA has removed the 15-minute limit for reviewing exam questions and planning responses. Now candidates can use this time at their own discretion. ACCA recommends that candidates use the time at the beginning of the exam to carefully review questions and plan responses, but candidates can start writing answers to questions in answer booklets immediately after the exam begins. At the same time, candidates should remember that they will need time to carefully study all the information and understand all the exam requirements.

Most exam questions combine computational and analytical elements.

All questions are mandatory.

The maximum score for Question 1 is 25 points.

Question 1

Includes the preparation of one or more consolidated reports that are examinable within the program. Often, the question includes tasks that must be solved before you start directly preparing consolidated reports.

Often offers specific scenarios and concerns the selection of an appropriate accounting principle and disclosure on various aspects. In this question, candidates may be asked to comment on the accounting principle selected by management and determine a more appropriate one based on the conditions specified in the scenario.

Question 3

It usually focuses on the requirements of a specific international financial reporting standard. This question usually involves both an explanation of the principles underlying the standard and the practical application of these principles.

It usually contains a scenario in which candidates are asked a series of questions from management related to financial statements. Questions are usually independent of each other and rarely require numerical answers.

In the DipIFR exam, candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the principles and key elements of such standards. Candidates are also required to have a good understanding of the background and need for international financial reporting standards, as well as issues related to the harmonization of accounting on a global scale.

In order to successfully pass the DipIFR exam a candidate must score at least 50 points

STEP 1 register with ACCA as a student

The registration process goes through ACCA and is divided into two stages, the first – registration as an ACCA student, the second – registration for the exam itself.
Before registering for the DipIFR exam you will need the following:

Proof of identity, such as a driver’s license or passport. The ID must be specified in these documents;

Fill out the work experience confirmation form (download the document);

STEP 2 register for the exam

Only after registering as a student will You be able to register for the exam.

In order to learn more about the registration procedure and register for the exam, you need to visit the official website of ACCA.

You can register as an ACCA student at any time during the year (the period for checking documents takes from 5 working days). after confirmation of registration, you will receive an email and your personal account will be available.

After that, you will be able to register for the exam itself through your personal account when registration becomes available.

The exam will be held on September 11, 2020.

Registration as a student and the exam opened on may 5, 2020. If you need to register as a student, complete STEP 1 before July 13. Registration for the exam will be open until July 27, 2020.
